People of Somalia often wear their national costumes in day-to-day life. Men use sarong-like clothing, khameez and turbans. Women use full-length dresses, guntiino, dirac, and cover their heads and body.
Somali clothing is loose, made from natural materials and light, because it has to protect the skin from hot sun.
