Traditional attire of Mevlevi dervishes

Sufi Dervishes are whirling in their meditative dance. They are dressed traditionally – in a “tennure” (sleeveless white frock), a “destegul” (long-sleeved jacket), a belt, a turban, and a “sikke” (felt cap).
