Belarusian woman in the folk clothing. Her leather vest is modern but the other garments are traditional. Her blouse with short sleeves is embroidered with a nice floral pattern. She’s wearing a linen skirt and an apron on top, belted with a woven belt. Her bag is handmade from natural fabrics. And her headdress is unique. It is a hair hoop made from straw; the piece is decorated with flowers, also made from straw. Straw headgears are traditional for Belarus and used to be very popular; nowadays women seldom use them but men still sometimes wear straw hats. Belarusian6.jpg
