What’s the national costume of Australia? Does it even have one? Would you tell us about is a little?

Violet, thanks for your question. Here’s what I’ve found out.
Australia doesn’t have an official folk costume. This country is occupied by immigrants from many different countries. They brought their own traditions with them, together with the folk outfits. But there is no general national costume for the whole territory.
If to talk about the traditional Aboriginal clothing in Australia, there wasn’t any. Most tribes didn’t use clothes at all because of the heat. They preferred to use body paintings instead. In some tribes, people wore waistbands, loin-cloths, and similar small wraps. But they were used just to cover some parts of their bodies, not to indicate their membership in a certain community.
