Women’s folk dresses of Bulgaria (eastern part of the country). It is a very beautiful and bright costume. It consists of a long shirt, a vest, a skirt, an apron, and an ornate belt (usually, the headdress is also included). The belt is interesting because it has special loops at the sides. Bulgarian folk dancers hold each other or themselves by these loops while dancing. The shirts have magnificent embroidery on the sleeves.

What do you mean? How do they hold each other? I've never seen anything like that. But sleeves are very beautiful indeed :)

Bulgarian folk dancers hold each other by the belt while dancing. It's a traditional move. Like this:

Bulgarian traditional female headdresses. They look so feminine and pretty.
