Lace is one of the best inventions ever regarding fashion. It was used for hundreds and even thousands of years to embellish clothing, shoes, bags, underwear, and various other items. Historians are still arguing as to what country to call the homeland of lace. There are 3 most famous types of lace – Venetian, French, and Flandrian. These samples are from Yaremche Museum of Carpathian Region Ethnography and Ecology, Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine.
